It’s well-known that the best parts and properties of herbs are preserved in tinctures. However, they can be very strong, that’s why they have to be used with caution. The recipe for this amazing tonic includes only organic ingredients in order to get the best results.
– fresh chili pepper
– 1 garlic clove
– 1 white onion
– 1 ginger root
– 1 horseradish root
– organic apple cider vinegar
Method of preparation:
Peel all vegetables, chop them finely and put them in a jar. Pour over them apple cider vinegar (fill the jar 3 fingers above the vegetables). Close the jar and shake well the tincture.
Store it in a dark place for at least 2-6 weeks. The more is kept there, the stronger it will be. Also, shake it well from time to time.
After 2 months, strain the tincture through gauze, by pressing the vegetables to squeeze the entire juice. Keep the tincture in closed glass containers in a cool, dark place.
You can use this tonic as a treatment for many diseases to stimulate the immune system or to improve digestion.
If, however, this tonic seems too strong, you can administrate with 1 teaspoon of honey. Don’t forget to drink as much water as possible throughout the day.
The normal dose is 25-50 ml per daily, but if you are dealing with a common cold or infection you can increase the dosage up to 6 times a day.
