Nasal cavity often gets inflamed in winter season due to common cold, flu or sinusitis and may be accompanied by headaches, earaches or fever. Here are some natural remedies for nasal cavities inflammation:
Prepare an infusion of 1 teaspoon of cloves, 1 teaspoon of anise, 1 teaspoon of licorice and ½ teaspoon of ginger (all crushed), pour over them 1/4 liter of hot water. Leave it to infuse for 5 minutes and drink a cup several times a day.
Poultice with horseradish and cheese
Fresh cheese and horseradish have curative, anti-inflammatory effect. Spread on a towel cheese mixed with 1 tablespoon of grated horseradish and apply the poultice for 10-15 minutes on the forehead or on the maxillary sinus.
Chew a piece of honeycomb (about 2 cm) for 15-20 minutes then spit it out. Repeat 6 times a day. This treatment should be followed for a week. Then take one teaspoon of honey daily, after meals. Let it melt in your mouth before swallowing it.
